About Me
About me
With over 25 years of experience supporting children, young people, adults, and families, I am deeply passionate about helping others navigate life’s challenges and discover their inner strength and resilience.
My professional journey has taken me across sectors and borders. I spent two years working abroad in Boston, Massachusetts, as a Senior Residential Counsellor within the mental health service and have worked extensively in both primary and secondary schools for more than two decades. My work within the voluntary and charity sector has also allowed me to provide therapeutic support to children, young people, and families from a wide range of backgrounds.
I began my formal training in counselling with Place2Be and the University of East London, where I earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children and Young People in 2012. I later completed a Master of Arts in Counselling and Psychotherapy, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in CYP-IAPT Therapy and Parent Training from King’s College London in 2019.
For the past eight years, I have been working in private practice, offering therapy to children, young people, and adults. My own journey into psychotherapy has instilled in me a strong belief in the healing power of therapy. I see therapy as a space to explore, process, and heal from experiences that impact our emotional wellbeing and overall life satisfaction.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, often incorporating creative methods when appropriate. This flexibility allows clients to explore their thoughts and emotions in a way that feels safe, supportive, and empowering.
My aim is to help every client uncover their self-worth and reach their full potential. I believe there are moments in life that have the power to change us—and through therapy, we can find the opportunity within those moments to grow, heal, and evolve.
